Common Survey Issues in Bongaree

Old lots and missing marks. Parts of the suburb were subdivided in the 1920s and 1930s, then the pace picked up again once the bridge opened in 1963. Sand shifts, gardens get built up and driveways get poured over corners, so original marks are rarely where you would hope. Bongaree surveyors expect that, which is why a boundary survey is the usual starting point on an older block.

Infill on established blocks. Larger old lots near First Avenue and the shops are steadily being replaced by duplexes, units and short stay accommodation.
