Ipswich City Council has started Stage One of the Ripley Road and Fischer Road Upgrade, taking Ripley Road to four lanes between the Cunningham Highway and Monterea Road. Bielby Holdings is delivering the works, with completion due by December 2027. Council has since secured $73.6 million under the Residential Activation Fund for Stages 2 and 3, which run through to 2030.

Planning and Survey Constraints in Ripley

A PDA scheme, not the usual council planning scheme. Ripley is assessed under the Ripley Valley PDA Development Scheme, administered by Economic Development Queensland.
