The detail has divided people. The draft identifies commercial and community sites for redevelopment, including the Ferny Way shopping precincts, the Mawarra and Monaro Crescent commercial land and the tennis courts on Samford Road, with heights of up to 12 storeys floated. Plenty of residents have pushed back hard on that figure. You are in Moreton Bay, not Brisbane. This one catches people out constantly. That shapes where a slab, a pool or a shed can go, and it drives the retaining design. A contour and detail survey shows the fall and the flow path instead of leaving it to guesswork.
Boundaries against public land. Between the conservation park and a network of drainage and park reserves, plenty of rear boundaries here abut public land, and those fences often went up by eye decades ago.
